Introduction

Voice agents handle phone conversations automatically, qualifying leads, answering questions, and booking appointments—all without human intervention.

Creating a Voice Agent

Create or import – Spin up new agents from scratch, or pull them in from SynthFlow, Re:tell or similar tools (import feature landing shortly).

Agent Workspace

Click the agent’s header to access the full configuration panel where you can:

Edit the Prompt

Define your agent’s personality, objectives, and conversation flow. Write clear instructions for how the agent should handle different scenarios.

Attach Tools or Files

Connect your agent to:
  • Calendar booking systems
  • CRM integrations (GoHighLevel, etc.)
  • Custom webhooks
  • Knowledge base files (PDFs, documents, etc.)

Tweak Advanced Settings

Fine-tune:
  • Time-zone - Ensures accurate scheduling
  • Key Terms - Improves transcription accuracy for industry-specific jargon
  • Model - Choose between GPT-4, GPT-4o, or other available models
  • Voice - Select from various voices and accents
  • Background Sound - Add ambient noise for realism (optional)

Fire Off Test Calls

Send test calls to yourself or a client to verify the agent works as expected before going live.

Best Practices

  1. Start with a clear objective - What should the agent accomplish on each call?
  2. Test thoroughly - Call the agent multiple times with different scenarios
  3. Iterate based on results - Review transcripts and refine your prompt
  4. Monitor performance - Use analytics to track success rates and optimize
